Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Ali Thabet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Atherstone's zone, Ali Thabet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehdi Herguel came out of the goal and Ali Thabet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehdi Herguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdi Sassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Achab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi Naouali having to interfere. Skipton's Hamdi Naouali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Skipton from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jamel Guelbi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamdi Naouali was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Ali Thabet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Herguel having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Ali Thabet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehdi Herguel. Atherstone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Thabet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hamdi Sassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Skipton's Ali Thabet got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Skipton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Jamel Guelbi scored to the left of an out of position Hamdi Naouali, making the score, 1-1. In the 41st minute Jamel Guelbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Naouali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hatem Jawachi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Hamdi Naouali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atherstone.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jamel Guelbi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ahmed Achab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Naouali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Akram Jelassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skipton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atherstone the free kick. Hamdi Naouali came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Atherstone's Jamel Guelbi. But to his dismay, Jamel Guelbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 62nd minute, Ahmed Achab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamdi Naouali was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 66th minute Jamel Guelbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Naouali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Achab in the 68th minute of play forced Skipton's goalkeeper Hamdi Naouali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Hamdi Sassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehdi Herguel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Hamdi Naouali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Achab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamdi Sassi during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Skipton getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hamdi Sassi hit a great ball. Karim Guelbi hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Skipton's Hamdi Naouali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Achab in the 84th minute of play. When Anouar Jelassi fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atherstone's protests and gave Anouar Jelassi a yellow card for diving instead. Anouar Jelassi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Ahmed Achab came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Atherstone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Achab couldn't finish the play. Atherstone's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
