In the 11th match minute, Milton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khaled Chikhaoui to maneuver through the defense. Khaled Chikhaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ibrahim Belgacem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jawhar Abdeljilil in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Stannington United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jawhar Abdeljilil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rachid Bargawi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chokri Makni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taieb Nefzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Stannington United's Ibrahim Belgacem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jawhar Abdeljilil in the 56th minute of play. Issam Badra charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Issam Badra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Milton got a freekick which was hit by Issam Badra. 63 minutes into the game, Khaled Chikhaoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stannington United the free kick. Stannington United's Chokri Makni managed to work through Milton's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Chokri Makni dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Taieb Nefzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chokri Makni in the 66th minute of the match. Ibrahim Belgacem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Bargawi in the 69th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Rachid Bargawi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibrahim Belgacem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jawhar Abdeljilil ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jawhar Abdeljilil put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ibrahim Belgacem. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Milton fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stannington United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
