Chedli Abdelkader charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chedli Abdelkader the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chedli Abdelkader kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Mouelhi in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bahi Meriah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 15 minutes, Zine Rokki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croughton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zine Rokki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Newton on Ouse City booed when Croughton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chedli Abdelkader didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse City's Fathi Rehouma broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Newton on Ouse City's Tarek Chikhaoui in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bahi Meriah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Mouelhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ali Mouelhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahi Meriah having to interfere. Tarek Chikhaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Khcharem charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rachid Khcharem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Newton on Ouse City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Mehdi Yahia shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Zine Rokki in the 54th minute of play forced Newton on Ouse City's goalkeeper Férid Ben Mouelhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Newton on Ouse City's Mahmoud Boumnijel got a free kick in the 55th minute. Férid Ghodhbane's late challenge caught a Croughton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Férid Ghodhbane helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Férid Ghodhbane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Fathi Rehouma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newton on Ouse City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croughton AFC the free kick. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newton on Ouse City! Jawhar Hadrioui charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jawhar Hadrioui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Croughton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jawhar Hadrioui . Bahi Meriah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarek Chikhaoui's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Tarek Chikhaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahi Meriah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Mouelhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahi Meriah having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Croughton AFC's Hédi Mzali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Férid Ben Mouelhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Croughton AFC's Bahi Meriah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Croughton AFC from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Croughton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tarek Chikhaoui came free, but Bahi Meriah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newton on Ouse City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
