After a rather tough play, Newton on Ouse City's Jawhar Ladgham got a free kick in the 27th minute. Chedi Merdassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shuaibu Loussayef made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ali Mouelhi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Tarek Chikhaoui got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 36 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse City's goal looked a bit too open when Chedi Merdassi came free, but Férid Ben Mouelhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rawdon's Chedi Merdassi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chedi Merdassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Newton on Ouse City's zone, Chedi Merdassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Férid Ben Mouelhi came out of the goal and Chedi Merdassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ajmi Khemili made a kick off. Chedi Merdassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Férid Ben Mouelhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ajmi Khemili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Khcharem hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ajmi Khemili struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Férid Ben Mouelhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rawdon. Chedi Merdassi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Férid Ben Mouelhi having to make a save. Ali Mouelhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shuaibu Loussayef having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Tarek Chikhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newton on Ouse City's supporters rose to their feet, but Tarek Chikhaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shuaibu Loussayef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Newton on Ouse City's Férid Ghodhbane got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chedi Merdassi came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Férid Ben Mouelhi could save by the left post. The Newton on Ouse City support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
