An unexpectedly hard shot by Taher Salah in the 6th minute of play forced Castleford FC's goalkeeper Adel Bourguiba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hichem Ben Ammar kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Taher Salah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlow United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taher Salah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taher Salah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adel Bourguiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdi Slim in the 19th minute of play forced Marlow United's goalkeeper Adel Chikhaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Castleford FC got a freekick which was hit by Moez Soussia. 26 minutes into the match, Castleford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Adhoum came free, but Adel Bourguiba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Jean Adhoum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adel Bourguiba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jean Adhoum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Adhoum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Habib Ali Khalfaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the game, Hamdi Slim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castleford FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlow United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Castleford FC's Habib Ali Khalfaoui got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taher Salah to strike the kick off in the second half. Habib Ali Khalfaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Chikhaoui having to interfere. Jean Adhoum struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Adel Bourguiba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlow United. With a little luck, Castleford FC's Adel Bourguiba got control of the ball when Jean Adhoum tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Marlow United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bechir Selliti hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Taher Salah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adel Bourguiba. Taher Salah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Adel Bourguiba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaouki Mellouli, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Faouzi Trabelsi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Marlow United got a corner. Castleford FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sadok Arfa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sadok Arfa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Castleford FC's Adel Bourguiba did a great save.
