In the 2nd match minute, Wells was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hatem Ben Arfa to maneuver through the defense. Haykel Abdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gammoudi in the 6th minute of the match. With his leg Abdallah Jemmali managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Horbury's Mohamed Salah Haithem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Horbury's Haykel Abdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walid Khaled in the 15th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Tarak Braham took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Abdallah Jemmali to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 22 minutes, Ahmed Jaouachi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wells's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Jaouachi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohamed Salah Haithem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdallah Jemmali having to interfere. Hatem Ben Arfa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Salah Haithem got free with Abdallah Jemmali in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Gammoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulo Gammoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Jaouachi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Haykel Abdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wells. If Paulo Gammoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haykel Abdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Gammoudi in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Gammoudi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Horbury's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adel Ragued who took care of the corner kick. Paulo Gammoudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Haykel Abdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Horbury's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Gammoudi came free, but Haykel Abdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Gammoudi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Jalel Sellimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Salah Haithem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Abdallah Jemmali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Horbury's Jalel Sellimi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdallah Jemmali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wells! Horbury's Mohamed Salah Haithem got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Wells getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jawhar Mrabet hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Wells's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Salah Haithem came free, but Abdallah Jemmali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Horbury were awarded a corner. Wissem Brahem went to the cornerflag to take it. Horbury's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
