Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Gammoudi made the kick off and thus started the match. Kais Mkacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gammoudi in the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Wells's Ahmed Jaouachi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kais Mkacher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Gammoudi in the 13th minute of play forced Newbury's goalkeeper Kais Mkacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Jaouachi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kais Mkacher firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamdi Ouertani in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdallah Jemmali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Paulo Gammoudi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Kais Mkacher to make any attempt to save it. Ahmed Jaouachi took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kais Mkacher. Kais Mkacher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Paulo Gammoudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Wells's Paulo Gammoudi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Kais Mkacher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Gammoudi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. Ahmed Jaouachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Newbury's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Gammoudi came free, but Kais Mkacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Karim Khcharem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Paulo Gammoudi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kais Mkacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulo Gammoudi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Wells fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Gammoudi couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wells's Abdallah Jemmali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Wells from getting a goal against them. Abdallah Jemmali made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hamdi Ouertani sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Hamdi Ouertani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. If Ahmed Jaouachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Zoubair Laabidi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wells's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newbury the free kick. Zoubair Laabidi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Wells's Paulo Gammoudi in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newbury's goalie prevented a goal. Kais Mkacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Jaouachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jawhar Mrabet struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Kais Mkacher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wells.
