When Taoufik Mkademi fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hillhead AFC's protests and gave Taoufik Mkademi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dewsbury booed when Hillhead AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taoufik Mkademi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamed Ben Younes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaies Bnouni having to interfere. Khaled Mechergui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chedly Cherni, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dewsbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chedly Cherni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Khaled Mechergui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belgacem Sebki went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hillhead AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dewsbury had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
