Said Ben Achab hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Birch House's zone, Belgacem Sebki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofiène Nafti came out of the goal and Belgacem Sebki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belgacem Sebki took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofiène Nafti. Sofiène Nafti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Chedi Benzekri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaies Bnouni. Hillhead AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chedi Benzekri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sofiène Nafti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chedly Cherni in the 29th minute of the match. Sofiène Nafti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chedly Cherni in the 32nd minute of play. Sofiène Nafti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chedly Cherni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hillhead AFC's Chedly Cherni got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belgacem Sebki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofiène Nafti having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chedly Cherni in the 47th minute of play forced Birch House's goalkeeper Sofiène Nafti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belgacem Sebki to make the kick off. Adel Ben Ammar tried in the 51st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Sofiène Nafti a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. Sofiène Nafti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belgacem Sebki in the 54th minute of play. Birch House's Sofiène Nafti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Birch House from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, Hillhead AFC's Belgacem Sebki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofiène Nafti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sofiène Nafti made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Chedly Cherni sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Fraj Cherif had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaies Bnouni. Hillhead AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fraj Cherif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Chedly Cherni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillhead AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chedly Cherni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofiène Nafti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Said Ben Achab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Birch House getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hedi Nafti hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Birch House's goalkeeper Sofiène Nafti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chedly Cherni. Kaies Bnouni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fraj Cherif in the 85th minute of the match. Fraj Cherif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaies Bnouni having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Fraj Cherif notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Hillhead AFC's Kaies Bnouni. Kaies Bnouni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
