Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mourad Bouali started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Mourad Bouali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radhi Nefzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hedhili Benachour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Dhouib, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Mehdi Ben Bourguiba came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Croydon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Ben Bourguiba couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Ben Bourguiba in the 14th minute of play forced Eccles's goalkeeper Radhi Nefzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Mehdi Ben Bourguiba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Eccles's Radhi Nefzi. Radhi Nefzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, Aymen Khcharem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croydon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eccles the free kick. Aymen Khcharem kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Abdelkarim Akid charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelkarim Akid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radhi Nefzi came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Croydon's Mourad Bouali. But to his dismay, Mourad Bouali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Habib Dhouib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedhili Benachour having to interfere. Hedhili Benachour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkarim Akid, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Habib Dhouib made a kick off. Belgacem Ben Mbarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Croydon's goalkeeper Hedhili Benachour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radhi Nefzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mourad Bouali in the 70th minute of the match. Eccles's Radhi Nefzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Eccles from getting a goal against them. If Belgacem Ben Mbarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Mourad Bouali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radhi Nefzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Croydon's Hedhili Benachour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Dhouib in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Eccles getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Maher Nafti hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Croydon's Fadhel Sassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radhi Nefzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgacem Ben Mbarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
