Zoubair Ragued went to the wrong direction when Aymen Kerrit was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 26th minute Hadj Salem Laabidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoubair Ragued saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohsen Trabelsi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sedgley FC's Karim Haithem got control of the ball when Hamza Mestiri tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sedgley FC booed when Wellington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hassine Dhiab didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sedgley FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Aymen Kerrit hit a great ball. Hamdi Jaidi struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Karim Haithem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wellington FC. Lassaad Ladgham's late challenge caught a Wellington FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lassaad Ladgham didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Zoubair Ragued stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hadj Salem Laabidi's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Zoubair Ragued didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Muhammad Cherif went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Karim Haithem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamdi Gmamdia, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Muhammad Cherif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoubair Ragued having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Mestiri in the 90th minute of play forced Sedgley FC's goalkeeper Karim Haithem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamza Mestiri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Haithem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdi Gmamdia in the 97th minute of play. Wellington FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
