Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) Tarak M'hadhebi struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Sofiene Jebali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirfield. Radhi Chaldun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Dhafer having to interfere. Mahmoud Dhafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radhi Chaldun in the 10th minute of the match. Thirsk United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hedi Agrebi in the 12th minute. Thirsk United's Hedi Agrebi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mahmoud Dhafer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Radhi Chaldun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahmoud Dhafer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ali Nefzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thirsk United's Mohamed Nefzi got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Thirsk United booed when Mirfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wissem Ben BenAmor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Hedi Agrebi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mirfield's Wissem Ben BenAmor got a free kick in the 46th minute. Thirsk United's Hedi Agrebi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mirfield. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Nefzi made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Thirsk United's Mohamed Ali BenAmor got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Wissem Ben BenAmor, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Tarak M'hadhebi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mirfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarak M'hadhebi couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Mirfield's Tarak M'hadhebi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofiene Jebali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sofiene Jebali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarak M'hadhebi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Nefzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Ali BenAmor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Tarak M'hadhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wissem Ben BenAmor hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mirfield fully deserved thier win.
