Chaouki Karoui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaise Rehouma in the 34th minute of play forced Helsby's goalkeeper Chaouki Karoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radhi Sguir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jean al-Munsif Bey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Radhi Sguir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Helsby's Radhi Sguir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Hedi Amira Karoui struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Chaouki Karoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sawbridgeworth. Habib Ali Sellimi's late challenge caught a Helsby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Habib Ali Sellimi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Helsby booed when Sawbridgeworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Ali Sellimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Radhi Sguir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helsby's supporters rose to their feet, but Radhi Sguir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean al-Munsif Bey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hedi Amira Karoui in the 71st minute of play forced Helsby's goalkeeper Chaouki Karoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes, Hedi Amira Karoui made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Helsby's Chaouki Karoui tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Habib Ali Sellimi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Blaise Rehouma put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Chaouki Karoui. With a little luck, Sawbridgeworth's Jean al-Munsif Bey got control of the ball when Radhi Sguir tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sawbridgeworth booed when Helsby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Aleya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Habib Ali Sellimi kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Moncef Nafti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sawbridgeworth's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
