After having played for 39 minutes, Aymen Sanchou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romaldkirk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aymen Sanchou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chedli M'hadhebi got free with Hatem Ben Jaziri in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Romaldkirk's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Amor came free, but Hatem Ben Jaziri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Ahmed Amor made the kick off in the second half. Hamed Gasmi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. Hatem Ben Jaziri went to the wrong direction when Mohamed Belhouane was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Romaldkirk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Chedli M'hadhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Jemmali kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Oldham FC's Ali Jemmali got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Ali Jemmali off the ground. The supporters of Romaldkirk booed when Oldham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position.
