Ajmi Karoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamel Bouali having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Khaled Meriah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheddar City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khaled Meriah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moncef David stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jamel Bouali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ajmi Karoui in the 65th minute of the match. Ajmi Karoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jamel Bouali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khaled Meriah in the 71st minute of play forced Blackpool United's goalkeeper Jamel Bouali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Blackpool United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Hatem Zahani walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ajmi Karoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. After 82 played minutes Blackpool United got a freekick which was hit by Zied Zouaoui. 86 minutes into the match, Cheddar City's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammad Agrebi came free, but Ali Bouazizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Khaled Meriah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ajmi Karoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamel Bouali having to interfere. Jamel Bouali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khaled Meriah, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Zied Zouaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Bouazizi having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
