After a defensive mix-up in Elsdon United's zone, Abdelwahab Karoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdallah Essafi came out of the goal and Abdelwahab Karoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute of the match Mohamed Saidi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karim Hicheri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdallah Essafi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelwahab Karoui went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Karim Hicheri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adel Ouakili in the 43rd minute of play. If Abdelaziz Nefzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salah Belhaj Benachour to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ilford FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Zine Hleli hit a great ball. Lotfi Souayati charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lotfi Souayati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Ilford FC got a freekick which was hit by Lotfi Souayati . Ilford FC's Karim Hicheri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Belhaj Benachour in the 62nd minute of play. Salah Belhaj Benachour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karim Hicheri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abdelwahab Karoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaker Sanchou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
