After a rather tough play, Cleobury Mortimer's Chaouki Saidi got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Ilford FC's Abdelwahab Karoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taher Boulaabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Abdelwahab Karoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taher Boulaabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hassine Karoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Mehdi Massaoud notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ilford FC's Karim Hicheri. Karim Hicheri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassine Karoui in the 84th minute of play forced Cleobury Mortimer's goalkeeper Taher Boulaabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
