After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Laamari Bouzayène managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mc Karim's supporters rose to their feet, but Laamari Bouzayène was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamadi Dhaouadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mc Karim's zone, Hedi Amira Yahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Mzali came out of the goal and Hedi Amira Yahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Mc Karim's Laamari Bouzayène sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamadi Dhaouadi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barking's Hamadi Dhaouadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chedly Bourchada in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Mohamed Ali Souayah shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sabri Mzali showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Laamari Bouzayène could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Hamadi Dhaouadi made a huge save. Hedi Amira Yahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sabri Mzali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mc Karim's Sabri Mzali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hedi Amira Yahia in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nejib Bouzaiene struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Sabri Mzali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barking. Hedi Amira Yahia came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sabri Mzali could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laamari Bouzayène in the 90th minute of play forced Barking's goalkeeper Hamadi Dhaouadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Laamari Bouzayène left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mc Karim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 93rd match minute, Mc Karim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaouki Ben Beya to maneuver through the defense. The Barking players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
