The supporters of Kings Lynn booed when Mc Karim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chedly Bourchada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabri Mzali made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Hamdi Kerrit sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Mc Karim's goalkeeper Sabri Mzali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamdi Kerrit. After some careless play in the Mc Karim defense, Hamdi Kerrit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sabri Mzali. The Mc Karim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sabri Mzali should have stopped the shot. Samir Nafti struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sabri Mzali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kings Lynn. If Samir Nafti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Mc Karim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaouki Ben Beya to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Chaouki Ben Beya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes of play, Kings Lynn's Hamdi Kerrit made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabri Mzali was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 45 minutes, Hamdi Kerrit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kings Lynn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdi Kerrit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamdi Kerrit in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sabri Mzali, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samir Nafti to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Samir Nafti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Mzali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samir Nafti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Mzali having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Samir Nafti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mc Karim's Sabri Mzali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabri Mzali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Nafti in the 57th minute of play. Laamari Bouzayène blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adel Souayati having to make a save. 69 minutes into the game, Laamari Bouzayène recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adel Souayati . Laamari Bouzayène showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Laamari Bouzayène's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Adel Souayati skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ziad Sfar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sabri Mzali. Mc Karim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
