In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Radway's goalkeeper Mourad Saidi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Zouheir Baccouche made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Radway's Mourad Saidi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zouheir Baccouche in the 24th minute of play forced Radway's goalkeeper Mourad Saidi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Radway's goal looked a bit too open when Zouheir Baccouche came free, but Mourad Saidi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Mohamed Hammami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hichem Soliman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Hammami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hichem Soliman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zouheir Baccouche made a kick off. The supporters of Brompton booed when Radway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jawhar Khemili didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Radway defense, Zouheir Baccouche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mourad Saidi. The Radway fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mourad Saidi should have stopped the shot. Brompton's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
