Hamza Sfar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boubaker Zaalani, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Salah Belhaj Sellimi kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sami Mellouli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamza Sfar having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Castletown's goal looked a bit too open when Boubaker Zaalani came free, but Hamza Sfar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamza Sfar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boubaker Zaalani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Bahi Zaalani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Wallington getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Aymen Bhar hit a great ball. Ali Essediri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zouheir Mkademi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sami Mellouli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamza Sfar was a little too slow when Boubaker Zaalani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Karim Ghariani fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castletown's protests and gave Karim Ghariani a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the game, one of Castletown:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boubaker Zaalani to make the kick off. Karim Yahia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Lotfi Mrabet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Zouheir Mkademi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hédi M'henni's late challenge caught a Wallington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hédi M'henni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, one of Castletown:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Castletown. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Wallington. Albert Arfa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamza Sfar. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Boubaker Zaalani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallington's supporters rose to their feet, but Boubaker Zaalani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamza Sfar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Mellouli in the 74th minute of play forced Castletown's goalkeeper Hamza Sfar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Zouheir Mkademi managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Castletown's Lotfi Mrabet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Castletown's Hamza Sfar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymen Bhar in the 79th minute of play. When Ali Essediri came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Castletown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Essediri couldn't finish the play. If Sami Mellouli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Castletown's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
