The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Knebworth's Ahmed Boukadida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Knebworth from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Karim Sellimi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knebworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Sellimi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slaheddine Masmoudi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Knebworth's Ahmed Boukadida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Knebworth from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ealing FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mohamed Mzoughi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ealing FC's zone, Karim Sellimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slaheddine Masmoudi came out of the goal and Karim Sellimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noureddine Ghigani scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmed Boukadida , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Karim Sellimi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Slaheddine Masmoudi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karim Sellimi struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Slaheddine Masmoudi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knebworth. 44 minutes into the match, Ealing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Sellimi came free, but Slaheddine Masmoudi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hamdi Kerrit fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knebworth's protests and gave Hamdi Kerrit a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Knebworth's Hamdi Kerrit got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Hamdi Kerrit hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Knebworth's zone, Noureddine Ghigani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Boukadida came out of the goal and Noureddine Ghigani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Knebworth booed when Ealing FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lofti Sayah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarak Jaidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Boukadida having to interfere. Noureddine Ghigani scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmed Boukadida , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmed Boukadida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Ghigani in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Karim Sellimi could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Slaheddine Masmoudi however easily saved by the left post. Karim Sellimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slaheddine Masmoudi having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
