Spectators: 6744 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) Culcheth's Lassaad Mkacher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Taieb Kadri came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Stockport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taieb Kadri couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Taieb Kadri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Issam Stambouli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Issam Stambouli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taieb Kadri's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ahmed Belgacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bechir Bhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Taieb Kadri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Culcheth's Issam Stambouli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taieb Kadri in the 29th minute of play forced Culcheth's goalkeeper Issam Stambouli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Culcheth's zone, Taieb Kadri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Issam Stambouli came out of the goal and Taieb Kadri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamdi Chedli struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Issam Stambouli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockport. Bechir Bhar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lassaad Mkacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamdi Chedli in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Issam Stambouli saved Culcheth from getting behind. A collision led to Culcheth getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zoubeir Zaalani hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Culcheth's zone, Taieb Kadri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Issam Stambouli came out of the goal and Taieb Kadri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hamdi Chedli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taieb Kadri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taieb Kadri to make the kick off. Ahmed Belgacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bechir Bhar having to interfere. If Lassaad Mkacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Missaoui hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Ahmed Belgacem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bechir Bhar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taieb Kadri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamda Kasraoui during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 68 minutes into the match, Stockport's Karim Bargawi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Taoufik Ghigani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Issam Stambouli made a huge save. Taieb Kadri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lassaad Mkacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bechir Bhar having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Stockport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taoufik Ghigani to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Culcheth's goalkeeper Issam Stambouli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Taieb Kadri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Hamdi Chedli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Stockport players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
