The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hedi Naybet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taieb Kadri, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Stockport's Taieb Kadri in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 25 minutes, Hamdi Chedli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdi Chedli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Taieb Kadri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes, Stockport's Muhammad Karoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hedi Naybet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stockport reached it. 31 minutes into the match, Beckford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Chedli came free, but Hedi Naybet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hedi Naybet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taieb Kadri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Beckford AFC's Tahar Baccouche got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taieb Kadri in the 39th minute of play forced Beckford AFC's goalkeeper Hedi Naybet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamdi Chedli struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Hedi Naybet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockport. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taieb Kadri to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Beckford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Muhammad Selliti. Taieb Kadri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedi Naybet having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Beckford AFC's goalkeeper Hedi Naybet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamdi Chedli. If Hamdi Chedli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beckford AFC's Hedi Naybet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taieb Kadri in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Beckford AFC booed when Stockport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taoufik Ghigani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hedi Naybet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdi Chedli in the 89th minute of play. When Abdallah Sanchou came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Beckford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdallah Sanchou couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
