Wickford's Habib Nefzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Ouertani in the 10th minute of play. In the 18th minute Middridge Village were awarded a corner. Karim Ayari went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Karim Ayari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Habib Nefzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 20 played minutes Middridge Village got a freekick which was hit by Moustapha Bargougui. Amine Saidi came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Wickford's Karim Jelassi. But to his dismay, Karim Jelassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haykel Hermassi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Haykel Hermassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habib Ouertani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Nefzi having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Zied Chiboub mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wickford and the Middridge Village players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Zied Chiboub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muhammad Ghigani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Habib Nefzi made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Middridge Village's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Jelassi came free, but Amine Saidi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Karim Jelassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Habib Nefzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Ghigani in the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Habib Ouertani made a precise shot to the right of Habib Nefzi. Wickford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Habib Nefzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammad Ghigani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 68 in the game by Mehdi Abdi from a close distance when the talented Amine Saidi managed to make a qualified save. Middridge Village's players were relieved. Wickford's Mehdi Abdi got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Muhammad Ghigani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moustapha Bargougui was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes Middridge Village got a freekick which was hit by Moustapha Bargougui. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehdi Abdi got free with Amine Saidi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehdi Abdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Amine Saidi made a huge save. Muhammad Ghigani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Nefzi having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Wickford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Majdi Benslimane to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
