Amine Melliti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Haj Kacem in the 18th minute of play forced Southwell's goalkeeper Amine Melliti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Salah Yahia came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Godalming AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salah Yahia couldn't finish the play. Amine Melliti came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Godalming AFC's José Haj Kacem. But to his dismay, José Haj Kacem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Amine Melliti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Haj Kacem in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Southwell's Sahbi Braiek got a free kick in the 28th minute. Sahbi Braiek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Haj Kacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salah Yahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Godalming AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jawhar Ouertani hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salah Yahia was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Sahbi Braiek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lotfi Sallemi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Issam Tlili kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Godalming AFC's Jawhar Ouertani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Southwell. Sahbi Braiek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khaled Jomaa in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lotfi Sallemi saved Godalming AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Southwell's zone, José Haj Kacem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amine Melliti came out of the goal and José Haj Kacem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Haj Kacem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Amine Melliti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Haj Kacem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Amine Melliti made a huge save. Khaled Jomaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amine Melliti made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when José Haj Kacem sent off a good shot on target. If Sahbi Braiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Haj Kacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amine Melliti having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Khaled Jomaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lotfi Sallemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Sahbi Braiek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southwell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sahbi Braiek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Godalming AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
