52 minutes into the match, Warrington's goal looked a bit too open when Moez Akimi came free, but Sadok Jemmali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mourad Akid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moncef Salem's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 69th minute, Zoubair Sboui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warrington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Zouheir Haggui fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warrington's protests and gave Zouheir Haggui a yellow card for diving instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoubair Sboui couldn't finish the play.
