The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ickenham getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Salah Mnari hit a great ball. With a little luck, Runcorn United's Chokri Zahani got control of the ball when Fakhreddine Rostom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Issam Jamaa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Runcorn United got a freekick which was hit by Taher Dermech. Chokri Zahani made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fakhreddine Rostom sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, Runcorn United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taher Dermech to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Fakhreddine Rostom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute Amir Boumnijel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chokri Zahani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fakhreddine Rostom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Chokri Zahani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amir Boumnijel to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Amir Boumnijel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chokri Zahani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Ickenham a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Radhi Mzali, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Runcorn United's Chokri Zahani. 3-0. Amir Boumnijel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chokri Zahani having to interfere. Patrick Bejaoui made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Fethi Zahani sent off a good shot on target. If Majdi Aouichaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th match minute, Runcorn United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Marzouki to maneuver through the defense. Majdi Aouichaoui did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Patrick Bejaoui 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Ickenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Morjane to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Boumnijel in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chokri Zahani saved Runcorn United from getting behind. After having played for 81 minutes, Fethi Zahani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Runcorn United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fethi Zahani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fakhreddine Rostom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Chokri Zahani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amir Boumnijel struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Chokri Zahani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ickenham. Radhi Jegham hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Majdi Aouichaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runcorn United's supporters rose to their feet, but Majdi Aouichaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Bejaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute Majdi Aouichaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Bejaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ickenham's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
