With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mourad Mourali in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oussama Hicheri saved Malton AFC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Dedham defense, Abdelkarim Ghigani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laamari Hammami. The Dedham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laamari Hammami should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malton AFC's goalkeeper Oussama Hicheri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Mourad Mourali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dedham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mourad Mourali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedham's Habib Marzouki got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mourad Mourali in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oussama Hicheri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Habib Marzouki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oussama Hicheri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Laamari Hammami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarek Tonniche in the 40th minute of play. Laamari Hammami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkarim Ghigani, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Oussama Hicheri made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Habib Marzouki sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Malton AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelkarim Ghigani to make the kick off. Dedham's Habib Marzouki got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelaziz Ayari charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelaziz Ayari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Malton AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Abdelaziz Ayari hit a great ball. If Tarek Tonniche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
