Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hedi Saidi kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, Houcine Mellouli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shelfield and the Croston United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Shelfield got a freekick which was hit by Houcine Mellouli. Hedi Saidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mokhtar Zouari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Habib Essafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Mokhtar Zouari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamdi Ghannouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Essafi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mokhtar Zouari in the 13th minute of play forced Croston United's goalkeeper Habib Essafi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shelfield's Hamdi Ghannouchi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mokhtar Zouari in the 27th minute of play forced Croston United's goalkeeper Habib Essafi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamdi Ghannouchi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Habib Essafi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Fraj Yahia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hedi Saidi's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Hamdi Ghannouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Essafi having to interfere. Fraj Yahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adel Braham, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Hedi Saidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Mokhtar Zouari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
In the 55th minute Shelfield were awarded a corner. Ali Salem went to the cornerflag to take it. Mokhtar Zouari struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Habib Essafi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shelfield. Hedi Saidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fraj Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Karim Ziadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mokhtar Zouari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. When Hedi Saidi came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Croston United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hedi Saidi couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Croston United's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Ghannouchi came free, but Habib Essafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adel Braham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fraj Yahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
