Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emir Kallel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hamed Koissy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Kallel, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When New Ash Green's Hedi Mabrouk, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for New Ash Green. In the 19th minute, Hedi Mabrouk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Ash Green fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mohamed Chedli's late challenge caught a New Ash Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Chedli helped the player get up and apologised. Mohamed Chedli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Mohamed Salah Achour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Mohamed Salah Achour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Bourguiba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Ash Green fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Stockwell AFC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zied Sellimi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of New Ash Green's Hamed Koissy. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Hedi Mabrouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mongi Ghodhbane got free with Hamed Koissy in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmed Bourguiba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohamed Salah Achour went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. New Ash Green walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
