Ali Mellouli's late challenge caught a Knutsford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Mellouli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Barton upon Humber AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Mellouli to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 27 in the game by Achraf Morjane from a close distance when the talented Khaled Bourguiba managed to make a qualified save. Knutsford's players were relieved. Knutsford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barton upon Humber AFC the free kick. Atef Agrebi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Tarak al-Husain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raouf Mkacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knutsford's goalkeeper Khaled Bourguiba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tarak al-Husains short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Raouf Mkacher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Knutsford defense, Mohamed Bourguiba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khaled Bourguiba. The Knutsford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khaled Bourguiba should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Barton upon Humber AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamad Amor came free, but Raouf Mkacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achraf Morjane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Mohamed Bourguiba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achraf Morjane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khaled Bourguiba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
