Spectators: 6760 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Samir al-Amin kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Letchworth United's goal looked a bit too open when Bechir Trabelsi came free, but Abdelbaki Bejaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelbaki Bejaoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Baccouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Appleshaw FC's zone, Karim Boukadida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anis Haggui came out of the goal and Karim Boukadida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anis Haggui had great luck who in the 11thth minute grab hold of the ball when Samir al-Amin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 12th match minute, Appleshaw FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bechir Trabelsi to maneuver through the defense. Anis Haggui acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Taoufik Dermech. Bechir Trabelsi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelbaki Bejaoui having to make a save. Bechir Trabelsi might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdelbaki Bejaoui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bechir Trabelsi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmed Baccouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelbaki Bejaoui having to interfere. Bechir Trabelsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Karim Boukadida notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Appleshaw FC's Anis Haggui. Anis Haggui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmed Baccouche took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdelbaki Bejaoui. Abdelbaki Bejaoui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ahmed Baccouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute Samir al-Amin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Haggui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Baccouche kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 60thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Letchworth United's keeper Abdelbaki Bejaoui was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ahmed Baccouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Abdelbaki Bejaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bechir Trabelsi in the 64th minute of play forced Letchworth United's goalkeeper Abdelbaki Bejaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bechir Trabelsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelbaki Bejaoui having to interfere. Karim Boukadida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anis Haggui having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Bechir Trabelsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Boukadida in the 84th minute of play forced Appleshaw FC's goalkeeper Anis Haggui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Baccouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Samir al-Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Letchworth United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
