Appleshaw FC:s Anis Haggui showed great skill when he stopped Mehdi Zouari:s penalty. Jawhar Robime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bechir Trabelsi in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Sittingbourne getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Moncef Hedi Jedidi hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes, Sittingbourne's Khaled Hleli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anis Haggui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sittingbourne reached it. If Mongi Kallel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Appleshaw FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nizar Belkhodja hit a great ball. Mehdi Zouari was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jawhar Robime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Baccouche in the 28th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Ahmed Baccouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jawhar Robime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Sebki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Anis Haggui made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Anis Haggui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oussama Ouertani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mongi Kallel in the 54th minute of play forced Appleshaw FC's goalkeeper Anis Haggui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Sebki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anis Haggui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Appleshaw FC's Bechir Trabelsi in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mehdi Zouari was slow to take the kick. During this time Sittingbourne's players had a chance to rest. Mehdi Zouari made a great header on Sittingbourne's corner, it was just that Appleshaw FC's Anis Haggui managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute, Bechir Trabelsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mongi Kallel in the 93rd minute of play forced Appleshaw FC's goalkeeper Anis Haggui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anis Haggui came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Sittingbourne's Mongi Kallel. But to his dismay, Mongi Kallel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Appleshaw FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sittingbourne from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
