After having played for 2 minutes, Radhi Bargougui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halifax United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radhi Bargougui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lotfi Ladgham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmed Sellimi came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Halifax United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Sellimi couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Sellimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmad Chedli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iteb Badra having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Halifax United's zone, Mustafa Ben Kerrit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamadi Mestiri came out of the goal and Mustafa Ben Kerrit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iteb Badra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Sellimi in the 23rd minute of play. Iteb Badra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmed Sellimi went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Acton's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmad Chedli came free, but Iteb Badra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Acton booed when Halifax United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youssef Ben Dahmani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lotfi Ladgham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamadi Mestiri having to interfere. A collision led to Halifax United getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ahmad Chedli hit a great ball. Iteb Badra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Sellimi in the 45th minute of the match. Halifax United's Ahmed Sellimi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Mustafa Ben Kerrit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Iteb Badra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Sellimi's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Acton got a freekick which was hit by Hatem Chiboub. Ahmad Chedli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmad Chedli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Iteb Badra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute Mustafa Ben Kerrit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamadi Mestiri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmad Chedli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iteb Badra having to interfere. Halifax United were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Acton to leave the ground with a draw.
