In the 5thth minute of the game Hamdi Miaâdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jersey St Aubin AFC's Oussama Dhafer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yassine Ladgham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mounir Baccouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Pirton got a freekick which was hit by Oussama Essebsi. Mounir Baccouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yassine Ladgham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Pirton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aymen Haj Kacem to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Pirton got a freekick which was hit by Aymen Haj Kacem. Jersey St Aubin AFC's Emir Haj Omrani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pirton. In the 20th minute Ahmed Sellami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oussama Dhafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirton's Hamdi Miaâdi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamdi Miaâdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Hamdi Miaâdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oussama Dhafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aymen Haj Kacem hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Jersey St Aubin AFC's Mounir Baccouche threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yassine Ladgham, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ahmed Sellami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Oussama Dhafer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oussama Dhafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Sellami in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdi Miaâdi was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd match minute, Jersey St Aubin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yassine Ladgham to maneuver through the defense. Mounir Baccouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yassine Ladgham in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Abdessalem Saidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jersey St Aubin AFC! Faouzi Gharbi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Hamdi Miaâdi struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Oussama Dhafer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirton. Hédi al-Husain kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmed Sellami got free with Oussama Dhafer in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Hamdi Miaâdi lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Oussama Dhafer. Ahmed Sellami was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Pirton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pirton eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
