After a rather tough play, Derby's Ali Dahmani got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ahmed Korbi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Med Ali Sellami 7 minutes into the match. Med Ali Sellami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Korbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Mohamed Bhar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Med Ali Sellami having to interfere. In the 15th minute Ahmed Korbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Med Ali Sellami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Korbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Derby's Achraf Zouiten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Habib Mokthar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Férid Ben Sellami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Mokthar having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Férid Ben Sellami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Mokthar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hédi BenAmor kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Derby's Med Ali Sellami proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Derby from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ahmed Korbi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Med Ali Sellami to make any attempt to save it. Férid Ben Sellami hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Férid Ben Sellami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Habib Mokthar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achraf Zouiten in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ahmed Korbi made the kick off in the second half. If Férid Ben Sellami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Derby got a freekick which was hit by Ali Mabrouk. Férid Ben Sellami struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Habib Mokthar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derby. 64 minutes into the match, North Baddesley's goalkeeper Habib Mokthar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Achraf Zouiten. 67 minutes into the match, Derby's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Korbi came free, but Med Ali Sellami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ahmed Korbi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Baddesley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Derby's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Bhar came free, but Med Ali Sellami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Férid Ben Sellami got free with Habib Mokthar in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Med Ali Sellami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Korbi in the 97th minute of play. Derby's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
