After a defensive mix-up in Holmfirth United's zone, Kamel Nafti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ajmi Thabet came out of the goal and Kamel Nafti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Goldthorpe United's goalkeeper Mohamed Trabelsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hatem Saidi. Ajmi Thabet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Belhaj Ghannouchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kamel Nafti might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ajmi Thabet . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kamel Nafti ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 65 minutes, Kamel Nafti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 89th minute of the match, Ali Zahaf tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mohamed Trabelsi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
