Spectators: 6743 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) Mohamed Trabelsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jemeleddine Belgacem in the 3rd minute of play. Walshaw's Jemeleddine Belgacem got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Med Salem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jemeleddine Belgacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Goldthorpe United's Mohamed Trabelsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adel Nefzi in the 16th minute of play. Mohamad Sellimi charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamad Sellimi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Walshaw booed when Goldthorpe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamad Sellimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Walshaw got a freekick which was hit by Ahmad Chérif. After 24 minutes, Ahmad Chérif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walshaw and the Goldthorpe United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Walshaw getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ahmad Chérif hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Walshaw's zone, Kamel Nafti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahi Bourchada came out of the goal and Kamel Nafti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jemeleddine Belgacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salah Belhaj Ghannouchi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bahi Bourchada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walid Mestiri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Walshaw's goalkeeper Bahi Bourchada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamel Nafti. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adel Nefzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adel Nefzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mohamed Trabelsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jemeleddine Belgacem came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Walshaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jemeleddine Belgacem couldn't finish the play. Bahi Bourchada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamel Nafti in the 60th minute of play. Jemeleddine Belgacem scored 0-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohamed Trabelsi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Walshaw's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Belhaj Ghannouchi came free, but Bahi Bourchada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salah Belhaj Ghannouchi in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 77th minute, Jemeleddine Belgacem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Trabelsi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jemeleddine Belgacem might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Trabelsi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jemeleddine Belgacem ran back to his position shaking his head. After 83 played minutes Goldthorpe United got a freekick which was hit by Med Salem. 85 minutes into the match, Goldthorpe United's goal looked a bit too open when Adel Nefzi came free, but Mohamed Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Walshaw's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Nafti came free, but Bahi Bourchada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Walshaw supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Walshaw would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
