In the 17th match minute, Walshaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Aouichaoui to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hassene Jaballah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soho United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassene Jaballah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahi Bourchada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Adel Nefzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bahi Bourchada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassene Jaballah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Oussama Hadrioui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jemeleddine Belgacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
