Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hatem Ben Sellimi got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, New Romney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nizar Chikhaoui to maneuver through the defense. Issam Massaoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamda Yahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tarak Melliti charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarak Melliti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Howden got a freekick which was hit by Tarak Melliti. Zine Sassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Jouili in the 9th minute of play. Issam Massaoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hatem Ben Sellimi in the 12th minute of play. Issam Massaoud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shuaibu Salem's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Muhammad Jouili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes New Romney got a freekick which was hit by Iteb Rzouga. In the 27th minute, Ben Aziza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hatem Ben Sellimi took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Issam Massaoud. Issam Massaoud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zine Sassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Jouili in the 40th minute of the match. Muhammad Jouili received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zine Sassi came out and tried to block the shot, but Muhammad Jouili slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, New Romney's goal looked a bit too open when Hatem Ben Sellimi came free, but Issam Massaoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Muhammad Jouili was the one to do the kick off. Muhammad Jouili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zine Sassi having to interfere. When Shuaibu Salem came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Howden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shuaibu Salem couldn't finish the play. When Tarak Melliti was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. In the 64th minute, Tarak Melliti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Issam Ghigani hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Muhammad Jouili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shuaibu Salem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Issam Ghigani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issam Massaoud having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Bassem Naoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Romney's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howden the free kick. Bassem Naoui hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Shuaibu Salem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Issam Massaoud skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Issam Massaoud acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karim Jemâa. Ben Aziza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Zine Sassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zine Sassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhammad Jouili's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
