A beautiful save bye Truro City's goalie prevented a goal. Ali Kasraoui kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ben Aziza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Muhammad Jouili came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the New Romney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhammad Jouili couldn't finish the play. Truro City's Slaheddine Farhat got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slaheddine Farhat struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Issam Massaoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Truro City. After 21 played minutes Truro City got a freekick which was hit by Beji Gharbi. Mohamed Falhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammad Jouili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Slaheddine Farhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. New Romney's Issam Massaoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hatem Youssef in the 38th minute of play. When Muhammad Jouili came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the New Romney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhammad Jouili couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mohamed Falhi came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by New Romney's Ben Aziza. But to his dismay, Ben Aziza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Slaheddine Farhat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issam Massaoud having to interfere. If Hatem Youssef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Truro City's Mohamed Falhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Aziza in the 61st minute of play. Habib Mabrouki hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Ben Aziza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Romney fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Kasraoui during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mohamed Falhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Jouili, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mohamed Falhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Aziza in the 76th minute of the match. Hatem Youssefs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Issam Massaoud to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hatem Youssef struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Issam Massaoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Truro City.
