Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Haykel Neifar kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Mohamed Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salah Trabelsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, New Cross FC's Mohamed Yahia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salah Trabelsi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Woodchurch's goal looked a bit too open when Haroune Nafti came free, but Salah Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Lassaad Abdeljilil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Salah Nefzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akram Akimi skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Woodchurch's Habib Yahia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Akram Akimi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, New Cross FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raouf Clayton to maneuver through the defense. Haykel Neifar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Akram Akimi made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Haykel Neifar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akram Akimi was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Haroune Nafti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salah Trabelsi. Woodchurch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroune Nafti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Haroune Nafti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Woodchurch players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Cross FC were winning 0-3.

Akram Akimi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziad Korbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Habib Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Habib Yahia came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Woodchurch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Habib Yahia couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Yahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Salah Trabelsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, New Cross FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haykel Neifar came free, but Akram Akimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohamed Yahia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Salah Trabelsi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 75 minutes, Mohamed Jaouachi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Cross FC and the Woodchurch players grew even worse after the yellow card. Habib Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akram Akimi having to interfere. Lassaad Abdeljilil 's late challenge caught a Woodchurch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lassaad Abdeljilil helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes New Cross FC got a freekick which was hit by Lassaad Abdeljilil . An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroune Nafti in the 84th minute of play forced Woodchurch's goalkeeper Salah Trabelsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Habib Yahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismail Bachraoui struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Salah Trabelsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Cross FC. Salah Trabelsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroune Nafti in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Woodchurch's Ahmed Abdi got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Woodchurch's zone, Mehdi Kalaï stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salah Trabelsi came out of the goal and Mehdi Kalaï tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched New Cross FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
