When Mongi Achour fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selsey City's protests and gave Mongi Achour a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Mongi Achour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Majdi Jemmali was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Slaheddine Lamouchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selsey City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coleford United the free kick. A collision led to Selsey City getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Slaheddine Lamouchi hit a great ball. Mohamed Salem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Néji al-Husain's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Coleford United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Selsey City:s goal. If Riadh Eyadema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 54th minute of the match Hamdi Salem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed Salem skillfully saved the ball. After 55 played minutes Selsey City got a freekick which was hit by Anis Ishola. After 59 played minutes Coleford United got a freekick which was hit by Jalel Boumnijel. Ferid Benachour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chokri Mzoughi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Selsey City's goalkeeper Mohamed Salem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Néji al-Husain. Emir Haj Boukorâa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 72nd minute of the match Mongi Achour completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mongi Achour a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mongi Achour hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mohamed Salem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Néji al-Husain went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Néji al-Husain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Selsey City's Mohamed Salem got control of the ball when Néji al-Husain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coleford United's Ferid Benachour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chokri Mzoughi in the 81st minute of play. Anis Ishola's late challenge caught a Coleford United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anis Ishola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Coleford United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riadh Eyadema to maneuver through the defense. Chokri Mzoughi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Coleford United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
