Mohamad Braham made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Mohamed Kasraoui sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ipplepen's zone, Mourad Jouili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khaled Neifar came out of the goal and Mourad Jouili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Karim Jelassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipplepen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wadebridge the free kick. After 11 played minutes Ipplepen got a freekick which was hit by Karim Jelassi. After 19 minutes, Mohamed Salah Bouazizi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipplepen and the Wadebridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Ipplepen got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Salah Bouazizi. In the 23rd minute of the match Wadebridge got a corner. Ipplepen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaouhar Chikhaoui ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lassaad Zidane thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Khaled Neifar, a very annoying self made goal in the 24th minute which led to 0-2. After 32 played minutes Ipplepen got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Salah Bouazizi. If Zine Youssef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's Zine Youssef sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Khaled Neifar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohamed Kasraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamad Braham having to interfere. Khaled Neifar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zine Youssef, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Mourad Jouili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Khaled Neifar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zine Youssef to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Zine Youssef's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khaled Neifar was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Bechir Guelbi's late challenge caught a Wadebridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bechir Guelbi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Ipplepen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bechir Guelbi to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Khaled Neifar managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Wadebridge's Mourad Jouili fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mohamad Braham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Jemmali in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Wadebridge getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jaouhar Chikhaoui hit a great ball. Mourad Jouili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khaled Neifar having to interfere. Khaled Neifar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zine Youssef in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the game, Rashid Zaairi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. During the 69th minute of the match Bechir Guelbi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bechir Guelbi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bechir Guelbi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Mourad Jouili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khaled Neifar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Mohamed Salah Bouazizi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mohamed Kasraoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mohamed Kasraoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Mohamed Kasraoui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mohamad Braham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Wadebridge getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Zine Youssef hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Mohamed Kasraoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohamad Braham. Wadebridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Kasraoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
