The referee ignored Hurworth's protests and gave Hassene Saidi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kings Lynn FC booed when Hurworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hassene Saidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karim Akid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Maher Mabrouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karim Salem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Ladgham having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hurworth's zone, Karim Akid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maher Mabrouk came out of the goal and Karim Akid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karim Salem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Ladgham having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iteb Korbi to make the kick off. Karim Akid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Maher Mabrouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heithem Trabelsi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Maher Mabrouk made a huge save. After 68 minutes of play Hurworth's Hassene Saidi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Hurworth's Iteb Korbi got a free kick in the 70th minute. Kings Lynn FC's Fathi Ben Amor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maher Mabrouk but with some difficulty. Karim Akid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hurworth's Iteb Korbi got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurworth's goalkeeper Maher Mabrouk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maher Mabrouk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Karim Akid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Maher Mabrouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Kings Lynn FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hurworth.
