Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000,
Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Mehdi al-Munsif Bey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Achref Jomaa having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Wigston City's zone, Mehdi al-Munsif Bey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achref Jomaa came out of the goal and Mehdi al-Munsif Bey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mohsen Salhia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dedham! In the 14th minute, Wigston City got a penalty, and Mohieddine Bouzaiene placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 20th minute, Mohsen Salhia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wigston City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi al-Munsif Bey in the 23rd minute of play forced Wigston City's goalkeeper Achref Jomaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achref Jomaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Azaïez in the 25th minute of play. Achref Jomaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi al-Munsif Bey in the 26th minute of the match. Salah Belhaj Ladgham made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mohsen Salhia sent off a good shot on target. If Ahmed Azaïez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Mohsen Salhia might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salah Belhaj Ladgham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohsen Salhia ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mohsen Salhia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wigston City's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohsen Salhia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salah Belhaj Ladgham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehdi al-Munsif Bey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohsen Salhia in the 56th minute of play forced Dedham's goalkeeper Salah Belhaj Ladgham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehdi al-Munsif Bey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Achref Jomaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedham's Salah Belhaj Ladgham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohsen Salhia in the 61st minute of play. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tahar Ben Slimane sped through Dedham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salah Belhaj Ladgham. If Tahar Ben Slimane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Dedham's goal looked a bit too open when Mohsen Salhia came free, but Salah Belhaj Ladgham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahar Ben Slimane's late challenge caught a Dedham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tahar Ben Slimane helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wigston City's Tahar Ben Slimane got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wigston City's zone, Ahmed Azaïez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achref Jomaa came out of the goal and Ahmed Azaïez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ahmed Azaïez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wigston City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dedham had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
