Beeston United's Anis Aleya got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zied Taher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hichem Khemili in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Beeston United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maher Tlili to maneuver through the defense. Haykel Ziadi struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Zied Taher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brixton United. In the 26thth minute of the game Paulo Sioud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brixton United's Rachid Zahaf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anis Aleya might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rachid Zahaf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anis Aleya ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Brixton United's zone, Haythem Sfar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Zahaf came out of the goal and Haythem Sfar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anis Aleya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rachid Zahaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Beeston United's Anis Aleya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Zahaf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Brixton United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anis Aleya fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47th minute Mehdi Lamouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zied Taher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Sioud made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Beeston United's Kamel El Bez got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Brixton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Zouiten to maneuver through the defense. Kamel El Bez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Brixton United defense, Anis Aleya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rachid Zahaf. The Brixton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rachid Zahaf should have stopped the shot. Zied Taher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hichem Khemili in the 88th minute of play. Rachid Zahaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anis Aleya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beeston United's Zied Taher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hichem Khemili in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Hichem Khemili recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zied Taher . Hichem Khemili showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
