In the 17th minute, Zied Chikhaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Haykel Ziadi made a precise shot to the right of Noureddine Bargougui. Purbrook's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Purbrook's Fatah Meriah got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Purbrook's goal looked a bit too open when Haykel Ziadi came free, but Noureddine Bargougui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zied Chikhaoui in the 31st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Rachid Zahaf kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Bechir Guelbi struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rachid Zahaf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purbrook. Purbrook's Bechir Guelbi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bechir Guelbi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rachid Zahaf having to make a save. Bechir Guelbi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rachid Zahaf made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zied Chikhaoui to strike the kick off in the second half. Houcine Jendoubi charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Houcine Jendoubi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Houcine Jendoubi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Brixton United's Rachid Zahaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zied Chikhaoui in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Purbrook's zone, Haykel Ziadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Bargougui came out of the goal and Haykel Ziadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Haykel Ziadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bechir Guelbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Zahaf having to interfere. Rachid Zahaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zied Chikhaoui in the 69th minute of the match. Hichem Khemili struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hichem Khemili in the 91st minute of play forced Purbrook's goalkeeper Noureddine Bargougui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
