York's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Achraf Ben Amor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Ahmed Nouira came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Chelmsford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Nouira couldn't finish the play. Hamdi BenAmor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Nouira's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When Achraf Ben Amor came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chelmsford AFC fans jumped to their feet. In the 47th minute, Achraf Ben Amor made a precise shot to the right of Hamdi BenAmor. York's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chokri al-Husain made a kick off. When Ahmed Nouira came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Chelmsford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Nouira couldn't finish the play. York's Chokri al-Husain got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamdi BenAmor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Nouira's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Hamdi BenAmor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Nouira in the 61st minute of the match. Ahmed Nouira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amine Mrabet in the 66th minute of play forced Chelmsford AFC's goalkeeper Maher Khalfaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Nouira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi BenAmor having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Chokri al-Husain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maher Khalfaoui was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Anis Hammemi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. York's Hamdi BenAmor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Nouira in the 77th minute of play. Hamdi BenAmor came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelmsford AFC's Achraf Ben Amor. But to his dismay, Achraf Ben Amor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ali Ben Doulet kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Maher Khalfaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chokri al-Husain in the 88th minute of play. Chokri al-Husain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maher Khalfaoui having to interfere. If Ahmed Nouira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chelmsford AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
